| i knew i was thrifty |
i have been warned of the dangers of having a credit card - the urge to buy, sudden feeling of having a "need", and others. the first thing i spent for was a mushroom book i got at NBS, that was only P225. after that were groceries less than 500, and then the new balance rubber shoes i have mentioned on my previous blog. all in one month.
the other week, Chris did a sale thingy, and like eye candy, i rummaged for badminton rackets and found myself swinging yonex’s. piper was with me and she/he felt impatient already, we’re supposed to watch Dreamgirls so i have to make a hurried decision, took one yonex and shoot the credit card to the counter. i knew i was thrifty though but i had been eyeing rackets eversince i became active in the sport. anyway, will be using it after the bowling tourneys. i should feel guilty but maybe bec i knew of the bonus coming this april so i wasnt worrying that much. although i knew that the money is going somewhere ‘already’, the racket would save me from unpleasant emotions once i started playing again. because using my old racket somehow, loses the drive and the action.
im aware of my credit limit but i dnt plan on reaching it, i mean, i had enuf scampering where to get money sometimes so i dnt want to go there agen. besides, i know money is coming so there’s nothing to worry about. plus the act that nobody goes to jail bec of debts.
as per bowling, i was tenth in the master bowlers list. hah. funny and jittery. now i have to prove how i got that 190 points i made on our 4th week. bowled last friday, and im planning to play one game tomorrow. just so i could tell myself i did tune up my play before the show.oh lordy.
